| The Through colour facts |
No surface finishing is required on Through Colour tile as the tiles are
manufactured with the colour pigmentation through the whole body of the tile ensuring long lasting colour
durability.
Due to the usage of natural materials
such as sand, cement and colouring pigments,
efflorescence can occur once exposed to the natural
elements. As a result uniformity in colour cannot be
guaranteed in through-colour concrete tiles are accessories. |

| Brikor tiles are designed to provide maximum water lightness if installed
correctly. All tiling and fixing must comply with SABS
062 : 1991 Code of practice.
Minimum roof pitch
with 100mm overlap: 17.5°
Minimum roof pitch with 75mm overlap: 26°

| Underlay |
| SABS approved roofing underlay is recommended in all cases. It is fundamental
thet underlay be used in all underlay be used in all
exposed areas and coastal regions and is essential for
all roof pitches below 26° and above 45° in unexposed
areas. It must be noted that underlay is not a
waterproofing medium but simply forms part of good
tiling practice and serves merely as a membrane.
